Position: Frontend Web Developer
Job Summary: We are seeking a Frontend Web Developer to join our team, primarily focused on UI modernization and frontend development using Angular (2+), TypeScript, and related technologies. This role will be based at the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, serving as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front-end software development role.
- Proficient in Angular (8+), Plain CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code IDE.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues and obstacles.
- Passionate about building high-quality web UI with a focus on web performance and design.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CSS3, LESS, or SCSS.
- Knowledge of development tools such as Git, Yarn or NPM, Babel, and Webpack.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, including unit tests and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
- Experience working in an Agile product team and practicing continuous delivery.
- Understanding of OIDC for authentication.
- Proficiency in responsive web design.
