Responsibilities as Trainee Software Developer at Contour:

As a part of our new Salesforce Consulting Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our Salesforce solutions. Working closely with multiple stakeholders and managing overlapping tasks, your responsibilities will include administrative and technical duties such as:

• Implementing changes in MODEL, including creating new objects, fields, and relationships.
• Customizing VIEWS, like designing lightning pages, layouts, and visual force pages.
• Modifying CONTROLLER elements, including Apex classes, triggers, flows, email notifications, auto-tasks, etc.
• Handling day-to-day tasks like changes in email templates, managing Salesforce support tickets, ensuring Org security, and user and profile management.

Core Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a small, agile team environment.
• Adherence to a “Code-Last” approach, prioritizing coding as the last resort.

Essential Skills:

In addition to core qualifications, essential skills include:

• Ability to understand and clarify issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in writing detailed working scope and requirements.
• A strong appetite for learning new tools and technologies.
• A clear understanding of any high-level programming language.
• Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise solutions is a plus.

Other Helpful Experience:

While not mandatory, the following experience will be beneficial:

• HTML and CSS proficiency.
• Knowledge of any Relational Database (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based Framework/Libraries (e.g., Angular, React).
